About Us
Wick Care Farm (WCF) offers a therapeutic, nature-based environment where children and adults can experience a meaningful shift in perspective and improve their overall wellbeing. Our team works with a diverse group of people, including those facing mental health challenges, young people struggling in education, and individuals recently diagnosed with neurodegenerative conditions such as dementia or Huntington’s disease.

You’ll also keep the organisation informed about any external or regulatory changes that may affect service delivery, helping WCF stay responsive, compliant, and forward-looking.

About You
You’re someone who brings both heart, knowledge and practical experience to your work. You understand that every person who comes to the farm has their own story, strengths, and challenges, and you are confident supporting adults and young people with a wide range of social, emotional, and mental health needs.

You’ll also bring:

  • Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements, including Risk Assessments and COSHH

  • A good working knowledge of safeguarding and child protection principles

  • Good organisational skills and experience of budget planning and tracking financial performance

Above all, you’re someone who leads with kindness, communicates openly, actively listens, and thrives in a community-focused environment where people feel safe, valued, and able to grow.
